Big, bold and vibrant, African wax fabric is a traditionally made waxed cotton print created by using batik style techniques. Created originally in Holland, it became immensely popular in West African countries and continues to be associated with that heritage today.
It is suitable for both dress making and all kinds of other arts and crafts and sewing projects. Many of the prints feature huge scale designs which can make a real statement when used with clever pattern pattern placement. This design features knots and scalloped patterns in blue and mustard with black details.
The African and Dutch wax prints are sold in units of 5.5m or 6 yards.
