Learn how to make your very own Frida with the fabulous Mel of Mint Button School of Sewing, aka Stitch Make Bake!
The Alice trousers is one of our most popular patterns and an excellent choice for newbie sewists as it contains no closures and has very few pattern pieces. Mel will take you through measuring yourself and the pattern pieces to ensure you choose the right size for you, help you cut out your pattern and the fabric, before guiding you through the process of dress construction. For anyone who has just started sewing or is keen try out their very first dress pattern, this class is for you. Alternatively, if you have some dressmaking experience but enjoy sewing with similar minded people and maybe lack a little confidence in some areas, this could also be the class for you!
What you will need to bring:
A sewing machine with pedal, feet, bobbins, etc plus instruction manual (just in case!)
Requisite amount of woven fabric
Thread to match
Basic sewing kit of pins, unpicker, and your own fabric and paper scissors
