Emporia is hosting the very first Kent Frocktails this May! We will be playing host to an evening of incredible sewing inspiration with talks from celebrities from the world of sewing - the wonderful Juliet Uzor – winner of the 2019 Sewing Bee, and Karen Ball, the blogging tour de force that is Did You Make That!
There will be plenty of opportunity to chat with fellow sewists and mingle with the designers and watch a fabulous catwalk show featuring a host of beautiful indie sewing pattern designs from the likes of Maven Patterns, Nina Lee, Sew Different, Dovetailed London, Emporia and more. Sewists can then get more sewing inspiration from all the indie patterns, fabrics, and other sewing themed goodies on sale at the mini market place with stalls from the fabulous Miss Gingers of Folkestone and Dovetailed London with her bright and bold African Ankara waxed cotton.
The Frocktails raffle will be raising money for both Dementia UK and Mind, the mental health charity, giving everyone the chance to win some incredible sewing prizes and lovely donations from local companies including the likes of Sew Dainty, CocoWawa Patterns, Wendy Ward, Deer and Doe Patterns, Silverdashery, Pink Coat Club, The Village Haberdashery, and Foxglove and Field, and of course Emporia Patterns too!
