Ernest Wright for Emporia Scissor Brooch

We are very proud of our collaboration with Ernest Wright to bring you our gorgeous scissor themed jewellery! Ernest Wright Ltd is renowned heritage scissor making company based in Sheffield, where they have employed highly skilled craftspeople to work with Sheffield steel ever since 1902. Their scissors and sewing shears have a global reputation for supreme quality, and the brand is a huge part of sewing history. We are delighted work with Ernest Wright in order to produce these beautiful miniature scissor themed brooches, based on the design of some of their actual dressmaking shears.

The Ernest Wright for Emporia scissors brooch is made from pewter, measures 4.5cm long and 1.5mm at the handle, and features on the words ERNEST WRIGHT stamped on the reverse. The back of the brooch features two pins which fit into two metal locking pin backs.
