Big, bold and vibrant, African wax fabric is a traditionally made waxed cotton print created by using batik style techniques. Created originally in Holland, it became immensely popular in West African countries and continues to be associated with that heritage today.
It is suitable for both dress making and all kinds of other arts and crafts and sewing projects. Many of the prints feature huge scale designs which can make a real statement when used with clever pattern pattern placement. This African wax design features large blue circles and small white dots on a black background.
Primarily cotton with polyester
The African, Dutch and Java wax prints are sold in units of 5.5m or 6 yards.
