Inspired by the cosy, comfortable style of joggers and yoga pants, these trousers can be made from cool cotton or light weight lawn for a spring-to-summer addition to your home-sewn wardrobe. The trousers feature deep cutaway pockets and an elasticated waist for ease of movement. The pattern also features elasticated ankle cuffs, but they can always be made with a simple hem for a slightly more formal look.

The Alice Trousers are a must-make for anyone who is wary of making the move from sewing skirts to making trousers - a quick and easy make for beginners upwards, there are no tricky closures involved in this pattern either.
